About Digilight India

We build hotel software for Indian hotels.

Digilight PMS is made by Digilight India. We are a new company — and we would rather say so plainly than dress it up, because everything below is something you can check before you pay us anything.

Why Digilight PMS exists

Hotel software was not built for hotels like yours.

It was built for chains. It is priced for chains — by the room, so the better you do, the more you pay. It is sold by a salesperson who wants a call before he will tell you the price, and it is trained on a week of downtime you cannot afford.

So a fifteen-room property in Jaipur does what it has always done: a register at the desk, bookings on WhatsApp, bills in Excel, and a CA who asks for clean records at the end of every month. It works — until the day two websites sell the same room for the same night, and the guest at your door finds out before you do.

Digilight PMS exists because that hotel deserves software that fits it. Not a cut-down version of an enterprise product. Software designed from the first screen for a property where the owner is also the receptionist on a Sunday.

Why Indian hotels need a better PMS

Built here, for the way it actually works here.

These are not features bolted onto a foreign product. They are the reasons the product exists at all.

GST is not an add-on

CGST and SGST worked out at the right rate, invoice numbers in sequence, room and food billed separately the way the rules require. Software written elsewhere treats Indian tax as a plugin. Here it is the plumbing.

One person wears every hat

At most Indian properties the owner is also the manager, the receptionist on a Sunday and the person who chases the payment. The product is designed for them — not for a department that does not exist.

Price by value, not by room

Charging by the room punishes a hotel for growing, and it prices out the properties that need this software most. Rooms are unlimited on every plan we sell.

Our mission

To give every Indian hotel — however small — software as good as the software the big chains bought, at a price it can actually pay.

Not a lighter version. Not a trial tier of something built for someone else. The whole product, priced so that a fifteen-room property is a customer we want rather than one we tolerate.

Our vision

A hotel owner who never has to reconcile a register against a spreadsheet again — and never loses a room to a double booking.

One system that takes the booking, blocks the room, checks the guest in, collects the money, produces a bill your CA will accept, and tells you at eleven at night how the day went.

How we build

Engineering and product, in plain English.

Two beliefs shape almost every decision in this product. They are worth stating, because you can hold us to them.

Engineering philosophy

A hotel’s money is not a place to be clever.

  • Money is arithmetic on whole paise, never on floating-point. A bill that is a rupee out is a bill your guest argues with at the desk.
  • One source of truth for every number. If a figure appears in two places, it came from the same calculation — not from two that happen to agree.
  • The boring answer, tested, beats the elegant one that nobody has run. Every rule that matters is pinned by a test that fails loudly when someone breaks it.
  • Correct beats fast. A double booking prevented is worth more than a page that loads a hundred milliseconds sooner.

Product philosophy

The person using this has a guest waiting.

  • Design for the busiest ten minutes of the day, not for the demo. If it does not work during the checkout rush, it does not work.
  • Your newest staff member should be able to use it without training. If a screen needs explaining, the screen is wrong.
  • Plain words, not hotel-software jargon. "Rooms occupied", not "occupancy utilisation index".
  • Ship what works and label what does not. A feature marked "Coming soon" is a promise we have not made yet — not a feature we are quietly hoping you will not check.

Customer-first, and checkable

Six commitments. Every one of them verifiable.

A promise you cannot check is marketing. Each of these links to the place on this site where you can see it for yourself, before you give us a rupee.

Never charge by the room

Most hotel software bills you more as you grow. Rooms are unlimited on every one of our plans — you pay more only when you need more people, more properties, or more of the platform.

Publish every price

Every plan and every rupee is on the pricing page, from ₹999 a month. There is no quote to request, no call to book before you are told the price, and nothing to negotiate.

Never lock anyone in

No contract, no minimum term, no termination fee. We would rather keep your business by being useful than by making it expensive to leave.

Read the terms

Your data is yours

Every booking, guest record and bill belongs to your hotel. If you leave, it leaves with you. We will never hold it back to keep you.

Show the real product

Every product image on this site is a photograph of the live software. No mockups, no illustrations of screens, nothing retouched. And there is a demo you can open right now, without giving us an email.

Take the tour

Say what is not built yet

Features that are still being built are labelled "Coming soon", in the future tense, with no date attached. We would rather sell you less today than have you discover the gap after you pay.

Transparency

What we do not claim.

Every SaaS website tells you what it is. Here is what we are not — because a new company that hides its gaps has told you something about itself already.

  • We hold no security certification — no ISO 27001, no SOC 2. We are new and we have not been audited, and we will not imply otherwise.
  • We publish no customer count, no hotel count, no star rating and no testimonial. We are new. Numbers we cannot evidence are numbers we do not print.
  • We do not show you a picture of software we have not built, and we do not caption around a screenshot that shows the product badly.
  • We do not promise a delivery date for a feature that is not finished.

None of that makes us a safer bet than an established vendor. It makes us an honest one — and it means the things we do claim are worth something, because we did not spend them on the things we cannot.

Our commitment at launch

You should not have to take our word for any of it.

We are asking a hotel to trust its bookings to software from a company it has never heard of. That is a big thing to ask. So everything that matters can be checked before any money changes hands.

  1. 1

A demo you can open right now

The real product, with sample data, in one click. No email, no card, no call with a salesperson.

  2. 2

A 14-day trial, with no card

The whole product for two weeks. Nothing is charged automatically, and nothing is charged without your explicit consent.

  3. 3

Prices you can read without asking

Every plan, every rupee, published. If our price does not suit you, you will know in ten seconds rather than after a discovery call.

  4. 4

Legal terms published before we take a rupee

Our privacy, terms and refund documents are being written by lawyers, not by us. The finished text goes up before we accept a single payment.
